I was born Annika Wium but professionally I go by Nikka Grace (my nickname and the meaning of my name). Although I am born and bred in Cape Town, South Africa, I lived in Grahamstown, now known as Makhanda, where  I graduated from Rhodes University with an honours degree in Journalism and Media Studies (specializing in TV, Documentary, and Photography) and an undergraduate degree in Dramatic Arts (specializing in directing and acting).
